I am not meaning to post about this every other week but that is how it has worked out thus far...
My first project shoot got pushed back a week so the actual shooting will happen on February 1st. My second shoot is scheduled for February, however an important element will not be ready to add to it until later. My other shoots for Southern California are coming together quite nicely. I just hope it all works out smoothly.
I have picked my galleries and am contacting them. If any of them book me I will sing it from the rooftops!
Here is how the project is going to happen...
~January through May will be shot in Southern California.
~May through September will be shot in Northern Virginia, West Virginia and Pittsburgh, Pa.
~October through December are TBA

This was a long project, longer than i thought it would take me to finish.
A big thank you to Ania for coming out to model for me. Isn't she gorgeous?? She was such a pleasure to work with.
I made this dress the night before the shoot because I could not find anything I loved enough for her wardrobe. So, I grabbed a 50% off coupon for Joanns and picked up some pretty lace and a pattern on sale for $1. Super simple pattern.
The cuff is from Forever 21.
The necklace was handmade by Lyn Montes. She is so talented! Gorgeous work!
I did her hair and makeup myself. Not too bad. ;) I had hoped to have a professional come in to help but she had a family emergency so of course she was excused!

Soooooo, last Monday I only had notes and nothing concrete so I didn't post anything. This week I have so much more! I am actually making preparations for 4 shoots at the same time.
Here is what I am doing this week:
Sewing day! I am making an adult dress and a child dress. I don't have a sewing machine so my friends is bringing hers over to have a sewing night with me. :)
This particular shoot that I am sewing this for will be ongoing preparation for a few months so you will see it probably in April or May.
Later this month I will be shooting my FIRST image for my 12 part series! Woot-woot! I will post some preparation images for that shoot next week. I am so excited, it is all coming together!
