High School Senior Corinne Teaser Two!

We feared rain, thunderstorms and lightning, but all we got was humidity and hot. Corinne and I went on our long journey to get some pretty awesome shots at some beautiful locations. Despite the humidity which was causing us ladies to "glisten", I thought it went well and I had fun. Corinne is so easy going and was willing to do anything I asked her! I had such an easy time photographing such a beautiful young lady! Here is a shot from today... More to come!

Jackson Family Teaser!

We have been trying to mesh up our schedules since before mother's day! Finally we found a time that we were all available and were able to do a family portrait session. They are such a cute family! I really loved working with them. I hope we get to work together soon, but at least I get to see them frequently. Here is a little teaser of their session today... enjoy!

High School Senior Corinne Teaser!

I had a fun time photographing this gorgeous girl! We had a good time with outfit changes, background changes, prop changes... so much to do so little time! Our session flew by so fast, we we on her 5th outfit change (she brought 10) when her mom came to pick her up. I asked, "Is it time already? Wow!" She is beautiful and full of life. She wanted to bring her dog to the studio and I said "Of course!" He was a little scared but was so good! Lucky for me my time with Corinne is far from over, she wanted to split her session into two days so that she can change her hairstyle. So tomorrow we get to go on location and have an even longer session outdoors! Love, love, love this girl!

Naomi's Session Teaser!

Naomi is a friend of mine from back about 5-6 years. We met during her first year at college at yet another singles ward. I am convinced that if I stay in DC long enough I may just see all of my old friends, I just keep finding more and more of them are moving to DC. So, we meet again. Naomi just finished her Master degree and is moving yet again to do more schooling, Law School. We had one last (or perhaps not) get together and photo shoot. She is so beautiful! She has always been a very stylish and well put together woman. Back in New York we had a lot of fun and plenty to talk about with boys and all of that fun single girl stuff. Here is just a teaser of our photo shoot...

So, a little story...

In 2000-2001 I moved to Pittsburgh, PA to go to the Art Institute. I met Amanda at church in the singles ward. In 2002 I decided to put my education on hold and serve a mission for my church. 2002-2004 I was living in Utah serving as a full-time missionary for my church. Amanda was also serving as a full-time missionary in the same exact mission as I was called to. She had gotten there before me. We lost touch and then I find her on Facebook and find out that she was moving to DC... close to where I am! So I got together with her and her husband and took some maternity pictures of her. Now her daughter has been born and I get to photograph the precious sleeping beauty, Emily! She slept for the whole time. Whether she was clothed, naked, on her tummy or back. It is nice to get together with old friends and meet their new families! I love it! So I am attaching a shot from the maternity session and the newborn session! This is Emily at 3 weeks.

You have patiently waited for the rest of the adorable pictures of precious baby Hailey. She is just barely 3 week old. She was so alert and active. She would not stay on her tummy, it was so funny. She would get her little legs under herself and push herself up and over. Too cute!
