Beauty | Charlene

Let me introduce you to this beauty, Charlene.  I met Charlene in the 2nd grade.  We were in Girl Scouts together!  Even though we have moved on and past that we have been able to keep in touch after all these years.  Crazy how easy it is now a days with the internet.  Now that I finally moved home to Southern California we can actually visit and do fun photo shoots.  Charlene is a fab photographer too. Beautiful. Just beautiful.  I just LOVE your eyes!  Charlene is fabulous and did her own hair and makeup.

Beauty | Jenn

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to photography this beauty, let me introduce you to Jenn.  Jenn is a mom of two gorgeous twin daughters and yes, I got to photograph them too!  Jenn is so sweet and has a great smile.  She is actually smiling most of the time I see her.  It was fun to try to get her serious and straight faced.  I decided I really like her smile better than serious face but here are some smile/ serious/ playful shots.  At the end we put on some serious red lipstick which looks great on Jenn, by the way.  Although the images are black and white you can still "feel" the red.  Great job Jenn!  And by the way, I love your name! ;)

Beauty | Nickie

Okay, the final beauty shoot from Saturday, the stunning, Nickie Reagan!  I knew with her tight gorgeous curls we needed to go big.  I am so in love with her hair and makeup, Cortney did a fabulous job!  Cortney also did Caley's hair and makeup, she is super-duper talented!  Nickie was so much fun and such a good sport.  We had fun, laughs, and lots of beautiful images.  She has such a great smile!  I love it when we are having such a good time that we crack up while shooting.  Take a gander...

Beauty | Caley

Let me introduce you to Caley from the beauty shoot on Saturday.  Gorgeous!  Caley is so sweet and fun and when you get her in front of the camera she works it.  Her sister, Cortney, came and brought her bag of amazing tricks and created Caley's hair and makeup.  Great job!  I Had a blast photographing Caley!

Beauty | Evie

Another beauty shoot!  This took place Saturday along with two other gorgeous women.  They rocked this shoot and were so beautiful that the each get their own post.  Today let me introduce you to the gorgeous, funny, and talented Evie.  She came over with her wardrobe and makeup.  We got to work right away on her "cat eyes".  This was a pretty decent job for me with liquid eyeliner!  Next we worked on the hair.  I wanted a very low key bouffant and a ponytail.  Next we went through her clothes and picked this dress, true you can't see all of it but the top was stunning and really flattering on her.  Finally we got to start shooting.  She was very natural and easy to work with.  Thank you Evie for modeling and for being so agreeable!

Winter Bohemian

Remember the Fall bohemian shoot I did a few months back?  Well, that gave me an idea to do a winter bohemian shoot too.  Since I live in Southern California snow is not an easy thing to come by.  Well, I decided to take a trip to Big Bear and even though it was a warm day there was still snow on the ground.  Not as much as I had hoped; it was melting off the trees.  We were still able to get some great shots.  Thank you to my model Carrie for giving up her morning to model for me.
